ECM-EPDIC 2024 venue is strategically located a few steps from Padova Railway Station.

Participants may access through two different entry points:

• The main gate is located at Via Niccolò Tommaseo 59, pedestrian access only

• Another gate is located in Via Goldoni (Gate C) for both pedestrian and car access.

Please note parking is free of charge for ECM-EPDIC 2024 participants during the Congress.

​Both entrances will be marked by a signpost with the ECM-EPDIC 2024  logo.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

Certificates must be requested to ecm34@sistemacongressi.com after the Conference.

 

LANGUAGE

The official language of the conference is English: no simultaneous translation will be available.

The Registration Desk is located at the main entrace of the Conference Venue, Padova Congress

Due to the large number of registered participants, we invite all attendees to arrive well in advance to avoid queues and delays.

BADGES

Badges must always be visibly worn during sessions, coffee breaks and lunches at the conference site but also during social program activities.

 

COFFEE BREAKS AND LUNCHES

Coffee breaks and lunches will be served to registered participants wearing their badges. Accompanying persons have no access to scientific sessions nor to coffee breaks and lunches.

Please note that vegetarian dishes will be on daily menu; for other special needs, we will try to serve a good variety of food so that it will be easier for you to get some alternatives in case of special diet restrictions.

PERSONS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Every effort has been made to ensure that people with special needs are catered for during the conference. Should you require any specific assistance, please let us know in advance to enable to assist in making your stay at the conference a pleasant and comfortable one.

The local currency is € (Euro). Automatic teller machines and exchange offices are available all over the city. Most hotels, restaurants and shops accept major credit cards but please always check first!

 

ELECTRICITY

For Italy there are three associated plug types, types C, F and L. Plug type C is the plug which has two round pins, plug type F is the plug which has two round pins with two earth clips on the side and plug type L is the plug type which has three round pins. Italy operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz.

WEATHER

In padova winters are mild and summers hot, though moderated by its location near the sea. During spring and autumn there are usually sunny days with mild temperatures.
